Well, that’s NaNo started – again. Up at nine, two thousand, one hundred and twenty-one words by about twelve.

Feels pretty good being back in the saddle again, I have to say. All those worries plaguing me for the last week or two – the characters are tired, I couldny finish this in 1997, there’s no real plot here – all these have disintegrated as I typed, first on my tablet and finishing with a flourish on the pc.

I’ve introduced four of the piece’s central characters and, I think, laid down a little of the backbone of the plot.

Workwise, this month’s gonny be pretty brutal. But when did I let myself be thwarted by reasonableness or doing things the way the world’s supposed to work?
